Building firm

Software for builders and building firms

In building, money goes out before it comes in: materials, plant hire, subcontractors. Tell us how you run your jobs, and a team of AI agents builds the software that shows you, project by project, what you’ve spent and what you’re still owed.

It’s free. You’re using it in minutes, and you change it by writing.

What you can ask for

What you can ask for.

  • Projects

Every project with its client, the costs charged to it and what’s still to come in.

  • Itemised quotes

Strip-out, screed, first fix, finishes: one line per item, with quantity and price.

  • Deposits and stage payments

The deposit up front, stage payments, the final balance: what’s outstanding, client by client.

  • Suppliers and plant hire

Materials, scaffolding, concrete: invoices with the due dates for the weeks ahead.

  • Documents and photos

Contracts, specifications, permissions, progress photos, all linked to the project.

  • Site manager

Sees their own project and uploads photos from their phone. Margins are for you only.

Your data

Where you start, and a day with it.

Where you start

A few examples of the data you put in. Services, durations and prices are up to you.

  • Site survey90 minutes · free
  • Bathroom refitquote line · fixed price
  • Floor layingquote line · per square metre
  • Labourquote line · per hour

This is an example. You tell the team your items, units and prices, even starting from the price list you already use.

Names, durations and prices are examples.

A day with it

An example of how a day might go, with business software built like this and online for your team and your customers.

  1. 7:00

Before heading to site you open it: £4,200 to pay this week, and a deposit ten days overdue.

  2. 9:30

The site manager uploads photos of the finished screed from their phone. They’re on the project page.

  3. 12:30

You log the builders’ merchant invoice and charge it to the Elm Road job.

  4. 15:00

Back at the office you write the itemised quote and email it to the client.

  5. 17:30

The client accepts. You raise the deposit invoice and send it with the tool you already use.

  6. 18:15

You check the Elm Road job: spent so far, received, what’s left.

The sections

Sections you might ask for.

These are examples: you decide the sections, and you add more whenever you like by writing what you need. How it works

  • Projects

Costs and income per project, not just per client.

  • Quotes and invoices

Itemised, then deposit, stage payments and final balance.

  • Suppliers

Materials and plant hire weigh on cash flow: see what’s due in advance.

  • Documents

Contracts, permissions and photos per project.

  • Automations

    Overdue deposit, supplier invoice due.

Plainly put

What it doesn’t do.

We’d rather say it up front, so you can choose well.

  • It doesn’t produce formal bills of quantities and doesn’t replace your construction accounting software.

  • It doesn’t prepare health and safety documents or check subcontractors’ compliance: you can only store them.

  • It doesn’t handle payroll, timesheets or CIS returns. VAT rates and the reverse charge are for you and your accountant to decide.

  • You need an AI model to build and change it (a free one works). You need a connection to use it.

Questions, answered.

Yes, if you ask for it: every cost is charged to a project, and each project shows spent, invoiced and received.

Your business software, made to measure.

Tell us how you work, answer a few questions and the team builds it. You use it straight away, and when you want others in too, we put it online for you.
